Tūtū Isabel warms hearts through blankets January 31, 2014

Someone once wrote that there are people we meet once and they leave such an impression on our lives that we are forever changed. I think that writer had Tūtū Isabel in mind.

This past Christmas, through the Laulima Giving Project, Ka Pa‘alana received over 150 quilt blankets to give to our keiki, all personally hand-knit by Tūtū Isabel. At 83 years of age, her hands and eyes are getting “tired” (her own words) but her heart for the community is stronger than ever, and getting stronger each year.

Mahalo Tūtū Isabel for extending your warm heart through the gift of blankets for our keiki!
