Tūtū and Me “Team R.E.D.” July 12, 2010

Team R.E.D.
The Tūtū and Me Department of Research, Evaluation and Development staff are, Gail Omoto, director; Sharon Roddy, assistant to the director; JoAnn Wasson and Monica Ka‘auwai, family support advocates; Jackie Benton Ching, instructional specialist; and Jamie Tom, data entry and research and evaluation support.

The goal of this team is to work with the Tūtū and Me staff to document, prove and improve the effectiveness of the Tūtū and Me program, to ensure that best practices are implemented in educating and meeting the needs of clients and staff, and to develop and assist in disseminating resources to support our families and their communities. It is a privilege to document and share the good work that Tūtū and Me is doing for families and communities. During the 2009-2010 school year, Tūtū and Me served a total of 2,339 children and caregivers in 24 communities statewide (we are thankful to have the opportunity to serve two additional communities this school year – Kihei, and Lahaina on the island of Maui). What an honor it is to be able to serve these families and communities. Mahalo ke Akua!
