On Saturday, December 6, 2014, over 60 people, decked out in Richard Simmons workout gear, gathered at the Waiʻanae High School cafeteria some exercise and fun, and to benefit the children of Ka Paʻalana preschool.

The event, which started several years ago, was coordinated by Pomaikaʻi Akiona (KP Parent Educator and Zumba Fitness Instructor) to benefits Ka Paʻalana children. Instead of the customary fee for the exercise class, attendees were encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy. In all, over 60 toys were collected.
