Partners in Development Foundation recognized for participation in the 2010 Hawai‘i FoodBank Hunger Walk January 4, 2011

On August 28, 2010, PIDF programs including Ka Pa‘alana’s preschool and Kama‘ehu youth program, Tech Together, PIDF administrators, family members and friends participated in the 6th Annual Hawai‘i FoodBank Hunger Walk.

In the December 2010 Hawai‘i FoodBank newsletter, PIDF was recognized as the agency with the most participants (60 registered walkers), and for volunteering to provide and serve shaved ice during the event.

Thanks to this fundraising opportunity, PIDF received $290 in matching funds and raised additional money for a total of $1,764.
