Partnering to Protect Our Keiki October 27, 2016

In September 2016, Dasson Tan, a senior at ‘Iolani High School, completed his Eagle Scout project: constructing safety fences to protect preschoolers from wandering beyond the playground area. After months of planning, Dasson met with Ka Paʻalana staff, took measurements, drew plans, secured material donations from David’s Fencing, organized fellow scout volunteers, and finally spent two Saturdays installing the fences at Ka Paʻalana’s Hope Preschool site. Mahalo Dasson for making our preschool safer for our keiki, and partnering with us to serve our community.
