To celebrate the month of May 2009 as National Foster Care Month, Partners in Development Foundation, Kokua ‘Ohana, Hui Ho‘omalu, and its partnering organizations of the “Foster Care Training Committee” collaborated with the management of Windward Mall to honor our foster youth and resource families.
The mentors and mentees of Partners in Development Foundation’s – Ka Hana No‘eau youth mentoring program recently celebrated their Ho‘ike 2009 by asking a question familiar to all regardless of where one lives… “Kohala Got Sustainability?”
Kalaeloa was abuzz with excitement as preschool children, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and staff prepared for a visit by Congresswoman Mazie Hirono.
