New technology for Big Island classrooms March 7, 2015
SMART Board technology was installed by Pili A Paʻa staff in two of their training classrooms. One of the boards went to Kohala High School and the other went to Holualoa Elementary School. The program seeks to enhance the learning experience for teachers in training as they discover new ideas, new ways of learning, and seek a better way of collaborating. The new SMART Boards will will allow an entire class to share and work on documents together in real time. Two teachers can write on the SMART Board at the same time without their data points crossing paths, and up to six teachers can make changes or edits to a single document at the same time! The interactive and collaborative learning style that the SMART Boards provide is the the greatest benefit that our teachers will receive from the new addition of cutting edge technology in their classrooms!
