Meet the Recycling Queen of Kaua‘i East! October 18, 2010

Tūtū and Me Traveling Preschool Kaua‘i East presented story time with the Recycling Queen, Aunty Kehau! She came to the rescue with a story called, “Michael Recycle meets Litter Bug Doug.”

Superhero Michael Recycle helps Litter Bug Doug by teaching him a valuable lesson on the importance of recycling and living a green lifestyle. With the help of his new found friends, Doug begins to turn his smelly trash into recycle products and is eventually appointed the official Litter Police!

Our own Superhero and Cape Crusader; Aunty Kehau had the keiki and caregivers at circle time mesmerized with her costume and humor.

So let’s do our part by turning our old newspaper, water bottles, plastic containers, and food scraps into recycled products and help to clean up our neighborhoods!
