With Hawaii’s economy trying to make a rebound and public education trying to reorganize….Surprise! Tūtū and Me Traveling Preschool is ready and available for all families on the island of Maui…free of tuition!

On January 6, 2010 the Kihei Site opened at the Kenolio Recreation Center cafeteria.

On January 7, 2010 the Lahaina Site opened at the Lahaina Civic Center: Social Hall.

On January 11, 2010 Kamehameha School Maui Campus Site opened.

On January 12, 2010 the Kahului Site reopened at Kahului Community Center Annex.

The Tūtū and Me Staff on Maui would like to thank The Department of Human Services, US DOE, Kamehameha Schools, and the County of Maui for putting forward their finest efforts in helping Partners In Development Foundation serve the families of Maui. The future is looking very bright for our keiki and our kupuna are very happy.

Speaking of our kupuna, we are so blessed to have 20 to begin our 2010 spring semester. Some of them are even retired school teachers and know first hand how important this time is with their mo‘opuna. They are taking full advantage of this opportunity that the program brings and we hope that everyone else will too. We have open enrollment all year long so don’t wait for the new school year.
