The ‘Ike Ea Program started the 2009-2010 school year at Benjamin Parker Elementary School. The two-week program focusing on Engineering and Electronics started on August 17th to August 31st. Daily hands-on activities such as, popsicle stick bridge building with a 50 lbs. load test, egg drop, circuits and model house wiring, helped reinforce the concepts learned during the lecture part of the course. A total of two classes with 51 students participated in the program. Students were recognized with their efforts with a certificate and goody bags.
