If You Give a Child a Crayon March 30, 2015
Joy Kim is just an ordinary person who had an idea and a passion to help kids in need. Joy organized a fundraiser and purchased over 200 boxes of crayons to give to keiki at Ka Pa‘alana. Having crayons for our keiki is something many of us might take for granted, but as you can see by the smiling faces, our keiki have received this gift with joy and gratitude. Armed with this simple tool, they’ll be able to practice their fine motor and writing skills, positioning them for success in school. Mahalo Joy for your aloha for our keiki.
