Exploring and Community ‘Ohana October 24, 2011
It gives us great pleasure to announce our O‘ahu Team 2 staff of Tūtū and Me. Gidget Antone, Lead Teacher, Leihua Augustiro, Assessment Specialist, Keana Kaopuiki and Lenson Ka‘aloa, Teaching Assistants.
In wet sensory, our keiki are able to learn and explore all about shaving cream; how it feels, what it smells like and how the consistency changes as they play with it.
At our Kahalu‘u site, keiki are learning all about the people that make up our community ‘ohana. They can dress up as doctors and listen to each other’s heart beat using a stethoscope. Dressing up as a firefighter and pretending to drive a fire truck in the dramatic play center is a favorite.
We are eager and excited to help and support our Makakilo and Kahalu‘u ‘ohana this school year!
