PIDF’s newest Covid-19 Response initiative is led by our Hoʻopalekana Ola team. Contracted by the Hawaiʻi Public Health Institute, the team aims to strengthen our neighbor island rural communities who have limited access to Covid-19 resources. Stop by the PIDF booth and pick up free kits for you and your ʻohana. Plus learn more about the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) course, an educational tool to equip our families and community members with the knowledge of how to prepare for, respond to and recover from biohazards, infectious disease and COVID– whether at home, in our workplace, in our schools, and in our communities. Participants will learn up-to-date ways to prevent and control infection and contamination in situations such as the coronavirus.
