Costco’s generosity helps Ka Pa‘alana feed the hungry on Leeward Coast beaches September 11, 2009

On August 24, 2009 Ka Pa‘alana presented an appreciation card to Costco including pictures and personally written messages of thanks from people who live on Leeward Coast beaches.

Since March 2009, Costco has been donating food from their bakery to Ka Pa‘alana to supplement weekly care package distributions. The donated items’ approximate value to date is over $17,000. We’re grateful for Costco’s thoughtful generosity and continual support with feeding the hungry on the Leeward Coast beaches.
