Ka Hana No`eau has partnered with the Community Harvest, each month a couple of mentorship programs partners with them.
The Animal Husbandry Mentor group received some of their project animals to start off the year with.
On April 9, 2011, Ka Hana No’eau held a Ho’ike and Chili Challenge. This years’ theme was “Ka Ulu Ana: Securing Our Future.”
Ka Hana No’eau will hold its “Ka Ulu Ana: Securing Our Future” event at the Kohala Intergenerational Center in North Kohala on Saturday April 9, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ka Hana No’eau Honoka’a Saddle making mentee Cody James Baptista honored by receiving the rank of Eagle, which is the highest recognition of boy scouting.
Ka Hana No’eau had a cultural in-service on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Two speakers were featured: Iokepa De Santos and Keone Nunes.
Ka Hana No’eau’s Saddle Making Group will be featured in the Japanese version of Equus magazine. Equus is a magazine that talks about horses, saddles, and cowboys.
What do you get when two mentor groups go for a bonding camping trip? Fun! Fun! Fun!
Ka Hana No`eau has sponsored workshops on natural farming. They have three mentor ship groups who are currently using this technique.
