Annual Hoʻomaikaʻi Reception Highlights New Program October 18, 2018

Partners in Development Foundation wishes to thank its many donors, partners, and supporters who make our work serving Hawaiian families possible!

Last night we had the privilege of thanking some representatives of a few of these amazing partners at our annual Hoʻomaikaʻi reception at the Oʻahu Country Club. A brief video was shown to the attendees summarizing PIDF’s work of transforming communities.

Brief speeches were given by Chairman of the Board Kaulana H. R. Park, Board member and former president of Kamehameha Schools Dr. Michael J. Chun, and PIDF president and founder Jan E. Hanohano Dill.

Our newest program, Kupa ʻĀina, was highlighted during the event. Kupa ʻĀina Director Kūʻikeokalani Kamakea-Ohelo and coordinator Zachary Huang gave a presentation on Kupa ʻĀina’s mission and progress thus far. They also shared a video outlining a recent visit from the world’s most visible environmental organization, Greenpeace.

Mahalo again to those who attended last night’s reception, and to all those who continue to help make possible our work equipping Hawaiian families through timeless native Hawaiian values.
