A Special Visit from Pirate Rick at East Kaua‘i September 12, 2016

In the month of August, our East Kaua‘i team was lucky enough to have “Pirate” Rick visit us for our annual office safety inspection. Not only did we learn how to properly lift, get in and out of the van safely, and how to focus on the job at hand, but our keiki were privileged to have Uncle Rick read them a story. They were so excited as he pulled out his eye patch and put on his best pirate accent. They listened attentively as he read them his pirate ABC story and even cheered “Aaarrr” when he did. One caregiver even commented that he sure gave Aunty Kehau a run for her money, and anyone who knows Aunty Kehau would know that’s a huge compliment. As we ended our day our keiki taught Uncle Rick how to do the “Chicken Dance” and he did a great job!! Needless to say, we can’t wait to see what he has planned for his next visit!
