Annual Reception Highlights Partnerships November 15, 2019
Our annual Hoʻomaikaʻi reception took place at the Oʻahu Country Club, and gave us the opportunity to thank some of our partners and donors.
This year’s event featured updates from three of our programs:
- Kupa ʻAina Natural Farming Project as they completed their first year;
- We Are Oceania (WAO) and their current efforts to enroll COFA citizens in health care;
- Baibala Hemolele (the Hawaiian Holy Bible Project) and the start of the bicentennial celebration.
“We had a tremendous time,” said Jan Dill, our president and founder. Talking about WAO, Jan added that it has been a privilege to mentor WAO, helping to “build their capabilities to implement projects to help our brothers from the Pacific.”
“Thank you all for your help over the years and just the encouragement that all of you have given us and our colleagues in the field for the work that the Foundation has been called to do in our communities!”
